Pan in Greek religion & mythology, is the god of shepherds & flocks, of mountain wilds, hunting & rustic music. He is often identified with a flute, pipe or some other wind instrument. I just made up the set of pipes in my drawing. I'm sure Pan could figure out how to play a tune on it, eh?
Pan was suggested by my friend,
Maiko adds that "years ago when travelers were frightened in the woods by mysterious noises, people would say they'd been panicked... because Pan had made the noises to frighten them, and that's where the word comes from".
pretty nice take on the Pan, I'd say this is only my personal taste, but I think you tend to overink parts of your works - especially the muscles on his shoulders and abs and the shading on his face seem to have a few too many lines which make it kinda hard to make out the structures imediately
This seems a lil different from your previous work, maybe 'cause it's not as dark as the others. Lovely work on the horns, the background, and the flute (only a god will be able to play that )
